Q: Are these new auto parts?

Yes, all of our auto parts are New and carry a One Year Replacement Warranty.

Q: How do I tell left from right

Industry standard defines right from left when you are sitting in the car looking forward, or standing behind the car looking forward. Left Hand Driver Side / Right Hand Passenger Side

Q: Do the parts have instructions for installation?

No, they do not, most products are easy to change with a little knowledge of auto repairs.

Q: Can I change the part my self?

We recommend that you have some basic knowledge in auto repair and a repair manual for your vehicle.

Q: How do you ship?

Orders ship via UPS Ground (UPS SurePost), FedEx Ground (FedEx SmartPost), USPS Priority Mail, LSO and OnTrac –This determination is made on an order by order basis. Please include your PO Box address (if applicable) and your physical shipping address.

Q: How long will it take to get my order?

Orders received before 3:00pm EST are Shipped the Same Day, shipping time is 2-5 business days thereafter.

We have several warehouse locations to ship your order. Warehouses are located in MI, VA, IL, TN, TX, KY, PA and AZ. You order will be shipped from the warehouse closest to you that has your part in stock. If you need expedited shipping please contact us with your information, we will be happy to give you an air quote. FYI: Next Day Air services generally start at @ $50.00

Q: Do you offer the part listed as "black" or "primer" in my color?

No we do not, however most items are paint-able by the customer or a body shop.

This generally refers to a side mirror. If your mirror is painted to match your vehicle, be sure to choose the option of a "Smooth Cover"

Most of our customers choose to paint the mirror themselves. This should be an easy and painless process.

We recommend;

If you choose to paint it yourself, you can find the paint color code (generally) located on a white sticker on the inside of the Driver door (could also be located in your glove box).

Your local auto parts store may have your color in stock or, they may need to order it.

Lightly wet sand with 400 grit sandpaper.

Approximately 4-5 light coats of paint will result in a nice finish.

Along with our aftermarket Mirrors, the painting process is also a great cost savings compared to your local dealer!

Q: Are the parts factory or aftermarket?

The listing will state; Replaces Dealer OEM Number; Most of our parts are Aftermarket. The OEM number is an easy reference for replacement aftermarket auto parts. It is not unusual for the same manufacturer who supplied the part for the factory to also supply that same part for the aftermarket auto industry.

As always, all of our parts carry a One Year Replacement Warranty.

"OEM" (=Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Q: Will the aftermarket part look and fit the same as original?

Yes, aftermarket companies take great care to duplicate OEM appearances, finishes, fit and function.

It is not unusual for the same manufacturer who supplied the part for the factory to also supply that same part for the aftermarket auto industry.

Q: Is the Hollander or interchange # the OEM or dealer number?

No, the Hollander number is an interchange number used in some aspects of the automotive industry and is not the dealer/factory number.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

No, Due to shipper restrictions, we do not ship to; APO/FPO, U.S. Territories, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii or International addresses.

HALOGEN = A halogen lamp, also known as a tungsten halogen lamp or quartz iodine lamp, is an incandescent lamp that has a small amount of a halogen such as iodine or bromine added. The combination of the halogen gas and the tungsten filament produces a halogen cycle chemical reaction which redeposit evaporated tungsten back onto the filament, increasing its life and maintaining the clarity of the envelope. Because of this, a halogen lamp can be operated at a higher temperature than a standard gas-filled lamp of similar power and operating life, producing light of a higher luminous efficacy and color temperature. The small size of halogen lamps permits their use in compact optical systems for projectors and illumination.

Q: Brochure Mailing List

If you have requested a 1 Auto Shop brochure, all information is kept completely confidential and is not shared with any third parties. We may, on occasion, send you an updated catalog or brochure. If you do not wish to receive any mail from 1 Auto Shop, please contact us via email at info@1autoshop.com. Include your name and mailing address and email address. You will be removed from any future mailings.

Q: Communications to Serve You

If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, e.g., by registering at the Site, emailing our Customer Service department or placing an order, we may provide you with service related announcements concerning the Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or your order. Shipping & Returns

Q: How do I get FREE GROUND shipping on my order?

All Orders Ship Free! Individual items with Free Shipping will be shipped by the carrier of our choice to a single address within the continental United States. Free Shipping applies only to the lower 48 states.

Q: How fast is my order processed?

Orders are processed the same or following day, Monday through Friday during typical business hours. All orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday, with the exception of holidays.

Q: When will my order ship?

All shipments leave Monday through Friday. Most shipments will leave the same day orders are placed, if placed during regular business hours. If there are any known delays, we will let you know as soon as possible, generally through the e-mail address provided on your order.

Q: What shipping options are available?

All shipments are sent by the ground service of our choice, to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible. We ship UPS, FedEx, USPS, OnTrac, and LSO. Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

We apologize but we are unable to ship to APO/FPO at this time. If you would like to place an order and ship it to an APO/FPO address, we recommend having a friend or family member take delivery from us and forward it from there.

Q: Do you ship to Freight Forwarders?

No we do not. There are no exceptions.

Q: Do you ship to Canada and US Territories?

Q: How much is shipping?

Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. However, we have several warehouse locations to ship from. Your order will be shipped from the closest warehouse that has your item in stock to ensure the quickest shipping time. Expedited shipping is available for an additionl charge. You can choose 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day service. Please contact us with your shipping needs for a quote. Note; Most Next Day Air Service starts at about $50.00. Next Day Air Shipping for a Set of Extendable Towing Mirrors start at about $100.00

Q: Can I have my order sent to more than one address?

Each order can be sent to only one address. If you are purchasing several items to be shipped to different addresses, you'll need to place a separate order for each different shipping address.

Q: Can I send an order to a country other than the United States?

Currently, we only ship to the lower 48 United States.

Q: What could cause a shipping delay?

Wrong address or zip code used for the shipping address.

When the shipping company can't deliver your package and they send the packages back to us, we will contact you via email or phone for corrected address information.
Unforeseen circumstances with the Service Carrier.

Q: Delays by shipping companies

Your shipment could be temporarily lost or misplaced by the shipping company. If the delay is deemed unreasonable, we will ship you a replacement order. When the original package does show, as it usually does, it is your responsibility to help get that package back to us. If the package is not returned in a reasonable amount of time, you will be charged for it.

Q: Delays during holiday seasons between Thanksgiving and Christmas

Shipping companies often do not guarantee any shipment a couple of weeks before Christmas. Please allow extra time for deliveries during this time. You can also contact us for expedited shipping options.

Q: Item is on backorder

We will contact customers via your email in case the product you ordered is on backorder and will be delayed. If you have other items on your order that are not on backorder we may ship items separately, while shipping the backordered item as soon as it becomes available. Or, hold your order for complete shipping when all items are in stock, depending on the time frame of the backordered item.

Q: Undeliverable packages (orders returned to us)

Packages that are returned to us by the U.S. Postal Service or UPS and marked as "Unclaimed", "Return to Sender", "Attempted Unknown", "Refused", or "Invalid Street Address" etc., will be credited back to the customer's credit card on file, less fair and reasonable shipping and handling fees.

Q: Billing address information is inconsistent with what is on the credit card record

To protect our customers against credit card fraud, we will call, email or use other ways to verify that the credit card holder authorized the purchase. The billing address MUST MATCH the records at the card issuing bank or we will not accept the order.

Q: Restocking Fee

Returns are subject to a ReStocking Fee of up to 15%.

Q: Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Please do not return any item without contacting us. You will receive the correct return shipping address and return authorization (RA#) for your order. Returned items received at the warehouse without proper authorization will not be processed.

Q: Outgoing Shipping Costs

If an item was sold with "Free Shipping", the original, actual outgoing shipping charges cannot be refunded and will be deducted from your refund.
